This will automatically add the currently opened pages as the home pages. Whether you're on Windows or Mac, you can change the Safari home page from theGeneralpreferences screen. Once you've changed it, you can access its link from the Historymenu. Changing the home page in Chrome is done through the settings. Your changes are saved, and your home page is set to the address you entered.
This will cause your homepage field to appear greyed out, preventing you from changing it from whatever the malware has set it to. Fortunately, this is usually pretty easy to resolve. We can’t figure out which internet browser instructions to show you.
Change Your Home Page in Microsoft Edge
The Home button will be added to the toolbar when a custom home page is set. Scroll down to the On startupsection and choose Open a specific page or set of pages. Or select Use current to set a home page in Internet Explorer.

Make Google your default search engine
From now on, you don’t have to worry about Safari opening the Favorites window every single time you launch Safari. Instead, you could set it to a popular web page like osxdaily.com, Google, Bing, Yahoo, or whatever else you’d like to see. Paste or type your desired homepage URL in the box labeled "Enter custom web address." You can do it by manually adding the URL in your settings, or by using the "Use current page" button. If desired, you can repeat the same step with the “New Tabs Open With” option. In that case, every time you open a new tab, you’ll see your home page.
Open Firefox on your phone, and then tap the menu button at the top right. On the menu, tap the “Settings” option. There is no save button, and any changes you make are saved automatically. If you have more than one home page, each page opens in a separate tab when you start your browser. If you a page manually, a small window opens where you can enter the URL of the home page, and then click the “Add” button.

It's the button with three lines in the upper-right corner of the web browser. It's in the menu bar at the top-right of the screen, next to the Apple icon. This will set the current page you are viewing () as your home page.
Click the radial button next to "Enter Custom Web address". This will enable a custom homepage instead of the New Tabs page. This will enable the home button on the Chrome browser. It will also give you the option of using a custom homepage or the New Tab page.
How to Set Google As Your Homepage on Mac
Select the “Show Your Home Page” setting to have Firefox open your home pages when it starts. It's located at the upper-left corner of the screen next to the Apple icon in the menu bar. To access Safari’s settings, click on “Safari” in the menu bar and choose “Preferences” from the dropdown menu. After clicking the button, the address in the “Homepage” field will change to the address of the current page. In the Homepage field, enter a web page address.
That being said, Safari’s Favorites window is actually pretty useful to quickly launch certain websites with just a single click. You can add as many websites as you want to the Favorites tab. You can add websites to Favorites from your iPhone and iPad too, and the changes will be synced across your devices over iCloud.
Next to Startup, select Start with home page from the drop down menu to see Google when you open your browser. Select Google from the drop down menu next to Default search engine. Select Homepage from the next drop down menu next to New tabs open with.
To simply use the web page you’re currently viewing, click Set to Current Page. In the Homepage field, enter a webpage address. To simply use the webpage you’re currently viewing, click Set to Current Page.
Have a new tab openYou can set Chrome to open a New Tab page whenever you open a new window. You can customize Google Chrome to open any page for the homepage or startup page. These two pages aren’t the same unless you set them to be. In Safari, click the gear icon at the top right to open the settings menu, and then click the “Preferences” command. On Firefox mobile, the process to set a home page is slightly different.
Type in the Home Page box, and click OK to save. Click and drag the blue Google icon below to the home icon located in the upper-right corner of your browser. Select Open this page, and then type in the box. In the Appearance section, check the box next to Show Home button.
You’ll be prompted to confirm your changes. Click “Change Homepage” to save your new settings. Next, for the homepage, type in the website URL that you want to use. Or you can head over to a specific webpage in Safari and choose “Set to Current Page” if the URL is too long. It's always exciting to get a new piece of technology.
From there, navigate to the page you’d like to use as your home page. Traditionally, a homepage is the first website your browser loads when you start it. But by default, Safari on Mac opens up a window of Favorites instead.
